How To Repaginate In Word For Mac 2016
Jul 13, 2016 At times, this may slow down the program to the point where you consider it unacceptable. The solution is to turn off the background repagination. Word will then only paginate the document when you print or perform some other action that requires pagination (such as using Print Preview). Click View and view your blank document in Draft mode.
If you are using iCloud Keychain, each app’s settings are shared across all your Apple products signed into your iCloud account.

Some options might also be available in other menus within iWork. If you change a setting in another menu, it changes your auto-correction settings too. Some iWork settings are similar to other settings on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. In most cases, the settings you choose in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote override the system setting on your device.
Set up custom text replacements
With text replacement, you can use shortcuts to replace longer phrases. When you type the shortcut in your document, the phrase automatically replaces it.
In the auto-correction settings for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote, you can set up text replacement specifically for use within each app.
Set up custom text replacements on iPhone or iPad
If you used this example, every time you type '(c)' in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote, the app changes it to '©.'
Set up custom text replacements on Mac
If you used this example, every time you type '(c)' in Pages, Numbers, or Keynote, the app changes it to '©.'
Undo text replacement
If Pages, Numbers, or Keynote replaces the text, and you want to restore it to the way you typed it in, press Command-Z on your keyboard or tap the Undo button .
Use auto-correction with other languages
Auto-correction is available for languages that your Mac is set up to spell check. To see these languages, go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Text and click the Spelling pop-up menu. Click 'Set Up' to learn how to add spelling dictionaries for additional languages. On iPhone or iPad, auto-correction is not available for all languages.
How To Repaginate In Word For Mac DownloadAdd words to the spelling dictionary
When Pages, Numbers, or Keynote detects a word it doesn’t recognize, it underlines the word with a dotted red line. You can add the word to the dictionary on your device used by iWork and other apps so that it recognizes the word and includes it in spell check:

In Pages, Numbers, or Keynote on Mac, you can also choose Ignore Spelling if you no longer want that app to mark this word as misspelled. This is an archive section for the replaced texts on this website. It is broken into various sections.
In the Graduate E&M section it consists of an early version (2000) of Macroscopic Electrodynamics, Part I, and a later version (2004, 2005) of both Parts I and II.
It also has a Classical Mechanics section (2002) which arose in 2006 when I revised and replaced Part II (not enough changes, however, to justify a new copyright date). As I said in the Classsical mechanics section, Part I was only “repaired” at that time.
Last but not least, I have retired an older version (2002) of the Undergraduate E&M text here also after it had been revised and re-posted in 2006. The 2006 version is now also here after revision in 2009.
Word Doc For Mac
Graduate E&M section: Includes a mangled Word X version of Part I (2000). This version is not completely worthless – one can do cuts and pastes from there to do patch-up work on the Word 5.1 version.
The following fonts were used in these documents:
cour.ttf
courbd.ttf symbol.ttf times.ttf timesbd.ttf mathematica4.ttf
Classical Mechanics section: This text started out in Word 6.0 on the Mac, which was a disastrous and buggy version. I remember at one point the computer would take up to half an hour to repaginate a chapter! Somewhere along the way I did an automatic conversion of all chapters to the old Office 98 Word version, which I then revised and converted back to good old Word 5.1. I then automatically converted Part I to Word System X to get the version posted here. This is the version I presently maintain and update on Part I. Part II has more issues. After the conversion and revision back to Word 5.1, they refuse to be automatically converted to any other version. Part II will therefore forever be maintained in good old Word 5.1 on Sytem 9, but never posted. (However, see below!)
Update (May, 2019): The seven Part I chapters were revised and updated by correcting various equations and typos. The Microsoft Word Version (“Classical Mechanics Part I.zip”) was also updated. It is too much trouble to post the old versions here!
Update (Jan., 2014): I have had success in finally updating Part II to modern Word, namely Word Mac 2011, version 14.3.5. The new Word and associated PDF versions are now posted on the main site. Many corrections were made. (The Title and Contents were actually unchanged.) The previous PDF version (last compiled in 2006 from Word 5.1) is posted here.
Undergraduate E&M section: A Word X version was given in the earlier posting, but I maintain this version in Word 5.1.
