Select the Capture Image tab in the utility. Select the appropriate volume to capture (most often Macintosh HD) and select Start Capture in the bottom right corner. When complete, the image is now ready to deploy. To deploy the image, NetBoot the Mac unit(s) you would like to deploy to. Access the same utility only select the Deploy Image tab. Step 7: Deploy the operating system image to your users. After you test your operating system image, you can deploy it to your users. There are many ways that you can deploy the image to computers in your organization. For example, you can use Windows ADK, MDT 2012, Configuration Manager, scripts, or other enterprise software deployment tools.

Images without an operating system can contain configuration profiles, scripts, or packages. These images are useful when you want to run a script or install a package on many computers at once. You can also install configuration profiles without using a mobile device management (MDM) solution.
Create a package-only image
The idea would be to prepare hardware independent image in Hyper-V and deploy it to various computers on our lab. Since Adobe, Autodesk and others take forever to install, I’d install them in VM and would just deploy that image to various PCs. For test, I just installed clean windows in VM and Chrome. Add the MAC addresses to the exclusion list of the computers you want the distribution point to ignore.
